I have read from an African American blogger who thinks that if Barack Obama got elected president, the 'Good Ole Boy' political system would eat him alive. This may be true. He is young and relativity in experienced when it comes to capitol hill workings.Oprah Winfrey, on the other hand, is an individual that has built an organization from nothing. She has proven that she can get things done in a mega business structure. Of course entering the politics she would have to give up her show and some of her other interests.
But what about our founding fathers and the sacrifices they made for our country. They thought our country was worth putting their lives and reputations on the line. They gave us a great start as a country.
I have always been one of those who have said, "Make the politicians get real jobs and put successful business men and women in charge of running our government." I know it is a radical idea, but the vast majority of Americans disagree with me.
I feel that business people are more honest, more experienced, and more inclined to understand what is really going on.
